Article marketing is not a new thing online. Many small businesses have been doing article marketing for a long time. The main reason why website owners submit articles to directories are to promote their products and services on the internet. Moreover, using an article submitter software offers you the ability to increase visitors through article marketing link practices. Furthermore, building hundreds of one way links to your website will increase your unique daily visitors from 200 to 30,000 unique visitors every month.

Creating demand for your products and services can be hard to do if you don’t have website visitors. For example, if you develop quality products and choose to do some online marketing, publishing to 300 or 600 online article directories could take several months or years! In addition, with an article submitter you should be done in a few minutes. Some website owners might think this is not the best way to get visitors to their website. However, it works! If you use this marketing strategy, do it every day and you should do just fine.

Lets face it, your online website is a business and should be treated like one. Getting more online customers to your online web site involves publishing new and very unique content. Making more sales involves helping others to find a solution and satisfying your customer’s unique needs and wants. What I want to say; it is best to create more versions of the same article in unique ways. Meaning, say what you want to say, just in a different way. This will help create a “hook” or a unique view point about the same topic. Are you following me? I will say that I hate spam. So, don’t do it!However, you should want to use article marketing in a unique and creative way to help push visitors to your website or blog.

A good article submission software will almost always have between 250 – 500 article directories that can be submitted at one time. Using an article submission software can target traffic a few different ways. First, through organic search engine placement. Second, good link building practices can increase traffic to your site within days. This marketing strategy is not for everyone. However, everyone should be using it! I have used it and article submission software does do the trick! I can watch my traffic stats increase month by month. Even better, this marketing strategy works best when done every day with fresh unique content.

Why would you want an article submitter? The answer is simple, to generate traffic to your online website! When you use an article submitter you increase your website visibility and overtime sales will increase. When I started using this type of software, I saw my sales increase 250% overnight. Okay, maybe not overnight, but it only took about 10 to 12 weeks for my website to start ranking higher in the search engines and I was getting more traffic from article directories. Is your website only getting 15 to 20 visitors a day? I just have to say, there is a lot of traffic online that you need to tap into. Don’t be left behind.

This is the first in a series of 25 articles on website design.

When it comes to your website, extra attention should be paid to every minute detail to make sure it performs optimally to serve its purpose. Here are seven important rules of thumb to observe to make sure your website performs well.

1) Do not use splash pages

Splash pages are the first pages you see when you arrive at a website. They normally have a very beautiful image with words like “welcome” or “click here to enter”. In fact, they are just that — pretty vases with no real purpose. Do not let your visitors have a reason to click on the “back” button! Give them the value of your site up front without the splash page.

2) Do not use excessive banner advertisements

Even the least net savvy people have trained themselves to ignore banner advertisements so you will be wasting valuable website real estate. Instead, provide more valueable content and weave relevant affiliate links into your content, and let your visitors feel that they want to buy instead of being pushed to buy.

3) Have a simple and clear navigation

You have to provide a simple and very straightforward navigation menu so that even a young child will know how to use it. Stay away from complicated Flash based menus or multi-tiered dropdown menus. If your visitors don’t know how to navigate, they will leave your site.

4) Have a clear indication of where the user is

When visitors are deeply engrossed in browsing your site, you will want to make sure they know which part of the site they are in at that moment. That way, they will be able to browse relevant information or navigate to any section of the site easily. Don’t confuse your visitors because confusion means “abandon ship”!

5) Avoid using audio on your site

If your visitor is going to stay a long time at your site, reading your content, you will want to make sure they’re not annoyed by some audio looping on and on on your website. If you insist on adding audio, make sure they have some control over it — volume or muting controls would work fine.

6) Optimise content

Optimise the content of your site to target keywords. For example if I was a web design company based in Guildford I might optimise content around web design surrey, website design guildford or I might even broaden the target phrase and optimise for digital marketing surrey.
